Parking
We encourage three parking options for our studio. The Hancock Parking Structure which is located on Hancock Ave directly off Santa Monica Blvd is free for the first 60 minutes and conveniently located a block from the studio. Additionally, metered parking is available along Santa Monica Blvd for $1.50 every hour. We also have Valet Parking available in the lot directly behind our studio which is on Westbourne Dr directly off Santa Monica Blvd.

Start with your arms straight, wrist in line with shoulders. Middle of the back is pressed into the mat.\n2. Take an inhale for nothing, engaging your core. \n3. Exhale as the bar travel behind your head, keeping the arms locked out, and middle of the back glued to the mat. The weight DOES NOT rest of the mat. You should always keep full engagement in your body. \n4. Once you hit your end rage, pull the bar back to eye level using your lats and core. \n5. Repeat \nThings to avoid: \n1. Starting with the barbell behind your head on the mat. This can lead to an injury, specifically in your shoulder. \n2. Allowing the weight to rest on the mat, you should always keep tension in your body and you are always in control of the weight. \n3. Arching the back. This means you have lost tension in your core, which can lead to injury and control of the weight \n4. Arms bent.
